At Highbury Jiu Jitsu Club we teach Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and practical self defence suitable for anyone; any size, weight or strength
We are based in Highbury, Islington, where we offer martial arts classes to juniors aged 8-17 and adults 18+‍

‍Tuesdays :
Adults 7pm - 9pm

‍Cost :
£8 per session‍

‍Wednesdays :
Juniors 6pm - 7.30pm
Adults 7.30pm - 9pm‍

‍Cost :
£20 per calendar month

Club News

23rd October 2025 : We will be training in a different room (Drama/Performance studio) until November 5th as our regular room is undergoing refurbishment works. Adult spaces are available whilst our juniors class remains full. When you arrive at the venue please ask reception to direct you to the temporary room.

7th October 2025 : Blue belt course takes place at our dojo on Saturday 11th October from 12pm-2pm

29th September 2025 : The junior and adult sessions on Wednesdays resume again this week - from October 1st. On a sidenote, we are only accepting new junior starters onto our waiting list - as the junior club class remains full.
