At Highbury Jiu Jitsu Club we teach Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and practical self defence suitable for anyone; any size, weight or strength
We are based in Highbury, Islington, where we offer martial arts classes to juniors aged 8-17 and adults 18+‍

‍Tuesdays :
Adults 7pm - 9pm

‍Cost :
£8 per session‍

‍Wednesdays :
Juniors 6pm - 7.30pm
Adults 7.30pm - 9pm‍

£20 per calendar month

Club News

24th November 2025 : Spaces are still available for our adult sessions. Please complete and submit the online form before attending. We are currently fully booked for our juniors class and unable to accept any new juniors for the rest of the year.

12 November 2025 : Both adult and Junior sessions are back in our regular room at Highbury Grove School (the Gymnasium) after a temporary room change due to refurbishment works. Adult spaces remain available but we have paused taking on new junior starters for the remainder of the year.

23rd October 2025 : We will be training in a different room (Drama/Performance studio) until November 5th as our regular room is undergoing refurbishment works. Adult spaces are available whilst our juniors class remains full. When you arrive at the venue please ask reception to direct you to the temporary room.
