At Highbury Jiu Jitsu Club we teach Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and practical self defence suitable for anyone; any size, weight or strength
We are based in Highbury, Islington, where we offer martial arts classes to juniors aged 8-17 and adults 18+‍

Adults 7pm - 9pm

£8 per session‍

‍Wednesdays :
Juniors 6pm - 7.30pm
Adults 7.30pm - 9pm‍

£20 per calendar month

Club News

10th June 2026 : Grading takes place on Sunday 14th June at Flaxman Sports Centre from 12pm-3pm. Good luck to those grading!

17th May 2026 : Pre-grading takes place at Flaxman Sports Centre on May 31st from 12pm-4pm. Anyone interested in attending should speak to one of the club instructors for more information.

27th April 2026 : The Randori Nationals take place this weekend on 2nd and 3rd May 2026. This exciting two-day event includes training, competitions, and an exclusive social venue on Saturday evening. Anyone interested in attending should speak to one of the club instructors for more information.
